Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources from the College of Forestry at the University of Washington (2003). Major – Wildlife Science, Minor – Quantitative Science.
Present Position
Wildlife Biologist for Hancock Forest Management, the property management subsidiary of the Hancock Timber Resource Group. Primary duties include managing risk of timber harvest on forest-dwelling wildlife species and supporting the company’s stewardship program across 1,000,000 acres in Western Oregon, Washington, California, and Vancouver Island.

Five years with Forest Capital Partners, LLC as Wildlife Biologist (FCP merged with Hancock); Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Umpqua Coho Pedigree Trap Aide; Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Experimental Biology Aide; Plum Creek Timber Company Fisheries & Wildlife Technician; Longview Fiber Company Forestry (Wildlife) Intern; Progressive Animal Welfare Society Wildlife Care Assistant.

Certified Wildlife Biologist since October 2012. National TWS member since 2003. ORTWS member since 2007. ORTWS VP-Elect 2012. ORTWS Board Member 2011- 2012. Interests
My professional interests include research to evaluate the effectiveness of forest practice rules. My two young daughters consume most of my free time, but my personal interests include running, camping, snowboarding, birding, and cooking.
