Conservation Grant Opportunity

Hello Wildlifers! Here is a grant opp from the Oregon Zoo:

Friends and Colleagues,
Once again it is our pleasure to solicit proposals for funding from our Pacific Northwest Future for Wildlife Fund. The Future for Wildlife program is an ongoing partnership between the Oregon Zoo and the Oregon Zoo Foundation that provides grants to Pacific Northwest conservation efforts. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. PDT Tuesday, June 30, 2016.
Grants are competitive and typically range from $500-$5000 and are judged on the following criteria:

  • Conservation and/or welfare impact (outcomes)
  • Conservation and/or welfare importance (priority)
  • Use of humane practices
  • Ability to successfully accomplish the project
  • Level of community support
  • Appropriateness of budget
  • Measurable goals and evaluation plan
