Located in Clackamas, unique opportunity to oversee fish marking and Coded Wire Tag (CWT) tagging operations at state-operated hatcheries and CWT recovery activities at the central Tag Recovery Lab. Key responsibilities include coordination and implementation of effective fish marking techniques and necessary reporting requirements consistent with Department policies and the coast-wide U.S./Canada agreements on marking salmonids established through the Pacific Salmon Commission (PSC).

Qualifications: Five years of fish culture (care of fish) or fisheries experience (two years of wildlife or related habitat work experience will count toward this experience) plus two years of lead work/supervisory experience. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree may substitute for some experience. See job posting for more details.
Salary: $3,906-$5,496/mo. Generous benefits package.
