Turnstone is currently accepting applications for a Caspian tern field project, stationed in or near Astoria, OR from late April through late June, with the possibility of extension into July or later. Project activities will include ground- and boat-based monitoring and dissuasion of Caspian terns on islands in the Lower Columbia River Estuary in order to promote the success of juvenile ESA-listed salmonid species.
