Unique opportunity to serve as agency expert on economic issues for Oregon’s fish, wildlife, and habitats. Located at headquarters in Salem, provide research and analysis to Oregon Fish & Wildlife Commission and department divisions on various areas, including: fiscal/economic impacts of state and department policy decision making, agency revenue projections, social science surveys of staff and user groups, commercial fishing, participation and demographic trends in angling, hunting, and other wildlife-related activities.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics or related field and three years of experience performing economic research or econometric forecasting. A Master’s or Doctorate Degree may substitute for some experience. May also consider an underfill opportunity that requires a Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience or an advanced degree.
Salary: $4,853-$7,106/mo. Generous benefits package.
