Job Description:
Under the oversight of the District Wildlife Biologist, the wildlife technician is responsible for tracking approved projects, seeking funding and implementation opportunities for them, developing narratives and cost estimates for KV plans and developing stewardship projects for inclusion in integrated resource timber contracts. This position will also assist in developing and maintaining partnerships; organizing volunteer activities to accomplish wildlife habitat enhancement activities; managing wildlife data and records; and assisting with annual accomplishment reporting requirements.
