Jade Keehn

ORTWS Board Member (2021-2023)

Current position: Regional Wildlife Conservation Biologist, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife

Biographical Sketch: I moved to Oregon in 2017 to work with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife on habitat conservation and management. I’m currently a regional wildlife conservation biologist, working to implement the Oregon Conservation Strategy in southwestern Oregon. I am active in my personal life as a field naturalist and outdoor recreationalist. If elected, I would provide state agency perspective and experience with amphibian and reptile management issues. I would be interested in engaging with the scholarship and grants committees, and as a diversity and inclusivity advocate, would like to support ORTWS’s continued efforts on this front. My prior TWS experiences include attending ORTWS meetings, and serving as a former treasurer and board member for a student chapter of TWS. In graduate school, I volunteered at Nevada TWS meetings.
