Support ODFW’s mission by participating in a College Internship Program! Student interns will be provided practical on-the-job training experience related to wildlife management, data collection, habitat restoration, and wildlife monitoring. The benefit of these opportunities is to recruit and train potential employees seeking careers in wildlife management, research and conservation and develop a great knowledge base of wildlife in Oregon and are expected to gain the ability to develop and refine academic and professional goals as well as understand the structure and operation of a natural resource agency.
Primary responsibilities:
• Assist staff with general wildlife management activities.
• Assist staff with habitat maintenance and improvements to benefit wildlife.
• Assist staff in conducting wildlife monitoring and data collection.
