Job Description: We are seeking one Wildlife Technician to assist with monitoring of wildlife species in and around tribally-administered mitigation properties, with particular emphasis on avian species. Primary duties include conducting avian point count surveys including 10-minute raptor surveys and 5-minute songbird point counts (songbirds will largely need to be identified by sound) and checking American kestrel and Mountain bluebird nest boxes, and entering data. Secondary job duties may include juniper cutting, seed collection, fence work, amphibian surveys, Sage-grouse lek counts, vegetation monitoring, plantings, and assisting with volunteer projects.
