Griffin Fosback
ORTWS Student Liaison (2024 – 2025)

Current Position: OSU Student

Biographical Sketch: Hello! I am a non-traditional student at Oregon State University, bringing more than a decade of management and leadership experience. Much of the work I’ve done prior to starting this degree path was people-oriented, and as I have learned from several of my courses, this field is secretly all about people. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast with a passion for all things wildlife-related. My primary interests lie in field research and human dimensions, and I will forever be looking for projects at the intersection of these areas. I am currently working on a wolf consumption project, and hope to present the project’s findings at the next conference. Since joining ORTWS in 2022, I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to learn from and interact with wildlife professionals throughout the state. In my role as student liaison, I intend to ensure other young wildlifers are able to do the same.
