Tere O’Rourke has worked in natural resources management for over 40 years. She has worked for private businesses, federal government, international programs and non-governmental organizations. She is the CEO of Natural Resource Solutions, LLC, providing technical assistance for habitat conservation planning, planning and permitting for wetland restoration, and facilitation of natural resource issues. She worked for a number of federal agencies including NOAA-Fisheries, the US Forest Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and for non-profits: the Nature Conservancy and American Forests. Her international work has focused on projects and programs in the tropical forests in Latin America and Indonesia. She has an undergraduate degree in Forestry with a minor in Communications from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Biology/Biogeochemistry with a focus on environmental economics and anthropology from George Mason University.
