Grant Broyles
ORTWS Treasurer (2025 – 2027)
Current Position: Wildlife Biologist – NCASI
Biographical Sketch: I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a wildlife biologist and moved to become one by volunteering for the Bureau of Land Management and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. As I was pursuing my degree in fisheries and wildlife management at Oregon State University, I worked for the Forest Service as a wildlife technician during the summer field seasons. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I went on to get my master’s degree in evolutionary biology from Cal Poly Pomona. Currently, I work as a wildlife biologist with the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement where I perform research on forest bird and bat communities, Red tree voles, Humboldt marten, and post fire vegetation recovery.
