The Oregon Chapter of The Wildlife Society (ORTWS) is hosting a four day Field Skills Workshop at the Northern Great Basin Experimental Range, Riley, Oregon. The training will be led by wildlife professionals from ODFW, USFWS, OSU and more. Click here for more details.

WORKSHOP TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:
- Day 1: Friday: Arrive in evening (4pm – 5:30pm), set up camp
- Day 2: Saturday: Necropsy, Point Counts, Passive Monitoring: tracking, camera traps, acoustic recorders, vehicle safety
- Day 3 Sunday: 4WD driving, telemetry and orienteering, getting unstuck, small mammal trapping
- Day 4 Monday: Small mammal trapping, pollinator and vegetation sampling, wildland fire safety
*Registration costs include meals, and while we can accommodate
vegetarian preference, we cannot safely accommodate food allergies
