USACE has just posted (today) positions at Chief Joseph dam as a Natural Resource Specialists. The current announcement is intended to fill 3 vacancies, 2 recreational park rangers and 1 habitat mitigation biologist. The Mitigation Biologist will be a full time permanent team member here a Chief Joe. The position will entail working on our 750+ acres of wildlife habitat mitigation sites. Job duties would include performing habitat restoration, wildlife and vegetation surveys, aquatic surveys, noxious weed control amongst a host of general biological practices.
