Research staff from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will provide a brief update on results from winter habitat use models in south-central Oregon. Additionally, staff will present a status update on the efforts to assess summer habitat use of mule deer in south-central Oregon at the Oregon Chapter meeting of The Wildlife Society in Pendleton. The mule deer modeling meeting is scheduled for Wednesday February 8, from 1000-1200pm, in room 3 of the Pendleton Conference Center. The meeting will be very informal and allow for ample discussion of the model revisions underway and the next steps for finalizing use for management.
