This position is part of a collaborative effort among the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to further the delivery of the Oregon Conservation Strategy and other associated habitat projects. The Natural Resource Conservation Liaison will provide biological/wildlife technical assistance for Farm Bill conservation programs to agriculture/forest producers and landowners. S/he will receive daily instruction and leadership provided by an NRCS Designated Conservationist. This position is with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) located in the city of Heppner in northeastern Oregon. This is a full time, Limited Duration position through June 30, 2019, with anticipated extension through October 31, 2019.
