Chandra joined Governor Kotek’s office in April 2024 as a Natural Resources Policy Advisor. Chandra has nearly twenty years of experience working for public and non-profit entities on natural resource issues. She most recently served as the Deputy Habitat Division Administrator and Water Program Manager for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Prior to that, she worked for a non-profit conservation in several roles including Attorney, Policy Advisor and Water Policy Director. Preceding these roles, she served as a Natural Resources Attorney with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife focusing on water, forestry and endangered species issues.
