Following the recent recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Sustaining America’s Diverse Fish and Wildlife Resources, Congressman Don Young (R-AL) and Congresswomen Debbie Dingell (D-MI) have introduced the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (H.R. 5650) in the House of Representatives on July 6. If passed, the legislation would dedicate $1.3 billion in federal funds annually
John Goodell, Vice-president elect of the Oregon Chapter of TWS, represented the national and state chapter of The Wildlife Society at the National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board meeting in Redmond, OR in April.
