Education: B.S. Wildlife Science, Oregon State University (1995)
Present Position: Wildlife Biologist, PacifiCorp, Portland, OR (2006 – present). I manage an
13,100 acres of wildlife mitigation area and assist/manage various permitting, restoration,
and relicensing projects associated with renewable energy facilities.
Former Positions: Wildlife Biologist, Mason, Bruce & Girard, Portland, OR (2000 – 2006);
Research Scientist, National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, MacDoel, CA and
Eugene, OR (1998- 2000); Wildlife Biologist, Fruit Growers Supply Company, Hilt, CA (1997-
1998); Biological Technician, Bureau of Land Management, Medford, OR (1996).
TWS Involvements: Member since 2002. I have contributed at past conferences by being a
student mentor, poster judge, and presentation judge. I served as an interim board member
in 2010 and I have been the ORTWS secretary since February 2011.
Interests: My professional interests include big game management, invasive species, forestry
management, vegetation/habitat restoration, and avian biology. My personal interests include
many activities, but a few of my favorites are hiking, biking, bird watching, and hanging with
my cattle dog Pika.
