White-headed Woodpecker Wildlife Technicians (USFS)

The U.S. Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station will be filling two GS-5 technician positions to assist with White-headed Woodpecker research and monitoring on the Umatilla and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests. Duties will include deploying and retrieving acoustic recording units, locating nest cavities, monitoring nest success, and radio-tracking tagged birds. Hiking will be a large part of this position.
