Biographical Sketch: Dr. Katie Moriarty is a forest wildlife ecologist with research interests in sustainable forestry, balancing needs of sensitive wildlife species, and biodiversity. Katie’s current projects include assessing sensitive species use of managed forest landscapes and evaluating biodiversity (e.g., pollinators, bats, carnivores) responses to variation in forest management intensity across broad spatial scales. Katie is active within The Wildlife Society, International Martes Working Group, and the IUCN Small Carnivore Group.
