The US Army Corps of Engineers is looking for one, full-time, modified term* GS-7 Biological Science Technician to assist the Wildlife Biologist in planning, coordinating, and conducting wildlife management activities around the 13 dams and reservoirs in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. Survey work focuses on Northwestern Pond turtles, western purple martins, bald eagles, winter shorebirds, grassland birds, and amphibians.
Incumbent will also be responsible for data entry and field equipment management, organization, and procurement. Successful candidate will also assist the Wildlife Biologist with program development and implementation of habitat management and improvement strategies for the above species.
*This is a modified TERM position, not to exceed 13 months, and may be extended up to 8 years.
