Interests (Professional and/or Personal):My interest in ecological processes started with an early childhood fascination with being in natural places and observing complex relations among critters and their surroundings.
My current position at Oregon State University is focused on shrub-steppe wildlife ecology, which includes research and outreach through Extension. Focal areas of interest include topics related to animal behavior, population dynamics, predator-prey dynamics, wildlife habitat use, and human-wildlife interactions. In my free time, I love to be outside during all seasons of the year. Favorite activities include mountain biking, xc skiing, and backcountry skiing with my family and dogs.
