ORTWS Past President (2023-2024)
Current position: Retired
Biographical Sketch: Howdy. I am excited to serve on the leadership team of the Oregon Chapter. Previously, I served two terms as President of the Washington Chapter, and I am excited to learn about the challenges facing wildlife and habitat in Oregon and how the chapter can support and empower its membership. A lot has changed in the 15 years since I was a chapter officer, and I am very much looking forward to helping the Oregon Chapter evolve and continue to be successful. Please email me if you have any input you want to share!
I have degrees from New Mexico State University (M.S.) and University of Montana (Ph.D.) and most of my research has focused on conservation of biological diversity on managed landscapes. Hobbies include growing as much food as I can; walking; backpacking; and writing.
